After bagging Game of the Year at the DICE Awards just over a month ago, Untitled Goose Game has added one more trophy to its growing cabinet at House House HQ. The game just won the coveted Game of the Year category at the Game Developers Choice Awards.
The mischief simulator has now been voted the best video game of 2019 across both the development community and journalism professionals. Other winners on the night included Control for Best Technology, Best Audio and Best Visual Art, while upcoming PlayStation 4 game Disco Elysium scooped up the Best Narrative and Best Debut awards thanks to its release on PC last year. Death Stranding, however, missed out completely

I prefer not to speak.
Honk honk honk!
All the people that voted for this game must have been extremely stoned
Still don't get why it's getting GOTY awards. Like, I get it, it was a great meme, and I personally loved the joke ever since it was announced, but GOTY implies it was some work of art, and no matter how you slice it, it just isn't.
It’s a cute little game and I loved it, but it’s far too short with no replay value sadly.
'Journalism professionals'. I haven't heard of them for a long time.
